L'Eglise fête : Solennité du Sacré-Coeur de Jésus
Pendant la première guerre mondiale, en réponse à la demande adressée par Sainte Marguerite Marie, en 1675, plus de douze millions de drapeaux et fanions français ornés du Sacré Coeur de Jésus furent portés par les soldats, les régiments, etc..En 1917, la République a interdit la consécration individuelle des soldats au Sacré Cœur et le port du Sacré Cœur.
